All the credit for the banner I use and the PSD I'm using for Keilani is going to lavenderrph on tumblr, which I bought this absolutely adorable PSD from and would buy from again. 005 Please trigger tag all the following as ____ tw or 'ren dont look': spiders (only realistic ones), sacrificial knives and imagery, medical malpractice or misuse of medical equipment, floristpyre (url), SA/Rape/CSA/etc. 006 I use a moderate amount of formatting and it's just how I legitimately always type now. 007 Please do not ask me my stance on the usage of AI. I am against it entirely, BUT (yes oh my god BUT) I understand the usage of it to have some sort of visual reference for actually drawing something, as my girlfriend has aphantasia (and myself with hyperfantasia) and sometimes she uses AI to generate outfits and ideas for palettes. Do not hassle me or her about it. 008 I interact on a daily basis with primarily those I feel comfortable around already, but that isn't to say that I won't interact with anybody that's new to me or my blog's character(s). IMPORTANT PORTRAYAL NOTES

I play Kitsunes from Pathfinder a little differently than your normal Kitsune. I play them with the original divination of the main elements of the Kitsune lineage, as well as with their sort of counterparts of Nogitsune (malicious fox spirits rather than just mischievous ones).
Keilani is HAWAIIAN and RAISED AMERICAN. This influences her day to day life and though I will not hastily say where her parents were from just yet, and where she was briefly taken care of by them in response, BUT she is from Hawai'i herself. Don't be fucking nasty towards me about it or her.
Because of her odd eye color and odd patterning on her fox ears and tails when she is full fox form or hybrid kitsune form, she is frequently mistaken for a Nogitsune by those who do not know their history or mythology. Feel free to lean into this if you deem fit but ask me if you plan to be derogatory for a long time with your character.

HISTORY

keilani dite had always been one for the life of parties. she had grown up within the realm of big tops and swirling lights, dancing and spinning and laughing and cheering. she was like her old man, trulvela, through and through. but that wasn’t always the way this were.once upon a midnight dreary, there was a little vulpine girl, with only one tail and a doe eyed wonder in her gaze as she stared around at the world. her parents, foolish and careless but not so much that they’d not know their own limits, dropped her off at the foot of the local circus troupe, as they had been in town for a few days and would be in town for several more before leaving. she was too young to remember much about them, too young to know anything but what she knows of herself now.

and so she grew up. any questions about her past were answered, and thus she never felt the need to run to search for the people who left her behind. “why would i search for the ilk who couldn’t give a shit, when i got my whole family right here?” magic colored her entire life, and yet she set to help out those who did not, could not have magic of the same kind of their own. she was their mechanic, after a time of watching others take care of it off and on. she was smart then, and still is now, enough so that she had her grand debut when she was just turning 18 years old, with two shining black and pink tails and being declared “the soul of the circus”…& at that moment in time, more than just the living were cheering her on. as her eyes had become too clear, and her vulpine ears unclogged with the life of the mortal realm. the dead found her, and they’d found her wit & charm refreshing.

these days, she is staying in dunnsville, usa, not too far from the upper ohio border, a massive metropolis where the original group of kamen riders and their strangely powerful friends lived and still live to this day. it’s been a hell of a few decades to this point. but she’s no slouch; she puts in the work to make her life her own while her dad and the troupe continue to travel.it’s a sunny day in dunnsville… for now.
